The 300 Litre FPC Pressurized Solar Tank is a standalone storage tank for a flat plate collector solar water heater system, rated for pressurized operation and built for hard water. It uses a galvanised iron inner tank at 4mm thickness.

What it is for. This is the tank component of a pressurized FPC solar water heater, supplied on its own as a replacement for a corroded or damaged tank, as a spare, or as part of a system built from separate components. If your existing solar water heater's collectors are still sound but the tank has failed, replacing just the tank is far cheaper than a whole new system, and on a 300 litre installation with three collectors on the roof, that difference is substantial.

Built for pressure and hard water. Rated for pressurized operation, this tank suits homes running a booster pump, delivering hot water at the same pressure as the rest of your plumbing. The galvanised iron inner tank at 4mm is a heavy gauge thicker than the 3 to 3.5mm used in most complete systems built to handle the mineral-heavy water that corrodes thinner or unprotected tanks.
